Guided tour – the monastery of Břevnov
The
monastery of Břevnov is a Benedictine Order monastery. It is the
oldest Czech monastery founded in 993 by Boleslav II. The monastery,
together with the Basilica of St. Margaret and the Margaret Garden is
protected as a National Heritage monument of the Czech Republic. The
monastery is also considered the oldest documented place of beer
brewing in the Czech Republic, the present Břevnov Monastery
Brewery continuing this tradition.

Exhibition – Charles
University Story
You are
welcome to visit the permanent exhibition introducing the history of
Charles University. If you visit Prague as a tourist, you should not miss
a visit to our museum. We are sure you and your friends and family
will find it most interesting. The exhibition is located in the Gothic
cellars of Karolinum (Ovocný trh 3/5, Prague 1). Free entry.

Movie
Nights
You can
learn a lot about Czech culture from watching the masterpieces of
Czech cinema. Come and join us at Czech movie nights and enjoy the
best of Czech movies with English subtitles!
