Dear Alumni and Alumnae,we are pleased to welcome you back after the summer holidays and offer you the autumn issue of the Charles University Alumni Club Newsletter. We do hope that the new academic year will bring us more opportunities to meet in person. In autumn, as the Covid-19 situation is getting better in the country, we would like to invite you to two different guided tours, a presentation skills workshop to attend in person and CU International Alumni Day that Charles University is going to organise for you in November. And there is more to read about! We will be happy if you spare some time and share your ideas with us in the CU Alumni Club survey. Guided Tour – The Story of Prague Thursday, September 16 @ 4:30 pm Would you like to explore Prague centre and walk around to see its most beautiful sights? Thursday, October 14 @ 5 pm If you want to know more about the Czech Republic, Czech people and their culture, you should not miss another guided tour that will make you acquinted with Czech cuisine, tradional dishes, beverages and some facts about its history. |

Charles University International Alumni Day Saturday, November 20 @ 4 pm Do you care about what is going on at the university and what the CU representatives visions of the future of your Alma Mater are? Save the date and register for our unique virtual CU International Alumni festival! Part of the programme will be a lecture and film that you might enoy. |

Czech European Researchers´Night 2021 Friday, September 24 Are you or anyone you know a science geek? The festival of science happens annually and this year´s topic is TIME. So do not waste your time and experience exploding experiments and learn about hot scientific topics in laboratories and lecture halls that are open to public for one night only. The whole event is free of charge. |
