Dear International Students,

You are reading the last issue of our newsletter of the summer semester, which means that the academic year is slowly coming to its end. If you are graduating from Charles University this year, do not forget to join the CU Alumni Club! This academic year was far from what we expected it to be, but we managed it together.

We are looking forward to seeing all international students at our events again in October! In case of any questions during the summer months, you may contact us at info@cuni.cz or +420 224 491 850. Good luck with all your exams and have a wonderful summer!

Our Summer Tips!

""

Marie: During the summer, I cannot miss the international film festivals in Karlovy Vary, Uherské Hradiště or Slavonice. In Prague, I like to go to the Vojanovy sady park in the centre. Among my favourite locations outside of Prague are the Mikulov and Pálava regions in the south, Okoř castle or Křivoklát castle and the surroundings!

""

Zuzka: An excellent to-do list for summer would be visiting all the UNESCO sites outside of Prague. My favourites (and the ones closest to my childhood hometown) are Litomyšl and Kladruby nad Labem.

""

Petra: I love paddleboarding down the river in summer – you can have a go even in Prague in Žluté Lázně. A day trip down the Sázava river is also great. Just hop on a train and get to Týnec nad Sázavou and rent a boat there. If you are a city person visiting Brno is a must. Villa Tugendhat is one of a great many sights of this South Moravian city.
