Dear International Students,

The last bits of summer are still here, and we hope you thoroughly enjoyed it. May this newsletter be a gentle reminder of the next academic season ahead. We hand-picked a few events, be they important or simply for fun, which all take place close to the end of September/early October. So if you are not in Czechia yet, you will not miss them. We'd also like to draw your attention to several great projects, initiatives, and opportunities at the CU. Finally, we added one more bonus tip from our personal plans. Hope to see you soon!

Burčák Season in Moravia

Have you heard of the special Czech drink called "burčák"? This partially fermented young Moravian wine is an inseparable part of autumn in the Czech Republic, and Czechs love it! Burčák is not only very tasty but pretty healthy as well due to a high amount of B2 vitamin! Although you can buy burčák all over Czechia during the fall, we recommend visiting the Moravia region and taking part in a "burčák march". During this event, you will have a chance to explore the Moravia region, try a variety of Burčáks and listen to our traditional music! See you there and please drink responsibly.
